Teaching newborns how to raise themselves when their parents are forced back to work.
In the United States, 1 in 4 women are forced back to work just two weeks after giving birth due to the lack of a federal paid leave policy. Since our nation won't give parents the time to care for their newborns, we decided it’s time for someone to teach newborns to care for themselves. “Get Your Sh*t Together, Baby” is a satirical series of kinesthetic baby books that “teach” babies everything they need to care for themselves, from boiling water for their own bottle, to getting into debt to pay for their own care. These books found their way onto social feeds, into Times Square, and into the hands of major celebrities who read the books to babies everywhere on Instagram and Tik Tok.
Our campaign generated over 200 million impressions, driving 55,000 petition signatures for Paid Leave For All and bringing the issue directly to Congress.
